The Renovation

Steeped in charm and character, originally the Blacksmiths Forge. Our barn has been lovingly restored and will provide the perfect backdrop for weddings, events and celebrations of all kinds. From the rustic charm of the barn to the timeless beauty of the suntrap terrace, the venue will offer its own unique atmosphere, ensuring that every occasion is truly unforgettable. For nearly 200 years Blacksmiths continued to marry couples over the Blacksmiths Anvil. To seal the marriage he would bring his hammer down upon the anvil (the tools of hsi trade). The ringing sound heard throughout the village would signify that another couple had been joined in marriage
